Parent Board Google Group
Have you joined the Lake School Google Group yet? As a reminder, this is an online resource for Lake School Parent Board related activities. Our goal is to reduce the amount of paper we use for flyers, while still keeping you up to date on newsletters, events, and other information. Please take a minute to join so we have a complete list of families and an easy and direct communication tool.

eScrip
eScrip is a powerful fundraising tool that enables schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants (Safeway, Village Market, etc.). All you have to do is sign up and the school will earn money! Registration is simple; just go to www.escrip.com, click Sign Up, and enter our Group ID 136556407.
Shop on Amazon to Raise Money for The Lake School
Help raise money for The Lake School through the Amazon SchoolRewards program. We can earn up to 10% of every purchase that we make through Amazon. It's a free program, and it's easy to use. Just visit this link and shop Amazon as you normally would; the school will earn money automatically for your purchases. Just remember to always use the SchoolRewards link to buy Amazon products.
Monthly Book Club
Parent Board members will be working with Jaynese and the teachers to highlight a few books every month that will be our monthly book club selections. Each month, families will have two ways in which to order books. The first one is to visit this page and look up the Lake School Oakland Book-of-the-Month Club, make your selections and check out. The second way to order books is to fill out the enclosed order form that comes home each month in your cubby, make your check payable to The Lake School Parent Board, and bring it back to the envelope in your classroom. The books will then be ordered and delivered right to your cubby. You are not limited to our list, and, in fact, every purchase you make at amazon.com is an opportunity for The Lake School to earn 10% cash back, so everyone wins!
